MDP-65-1 Lightning Surge Protector
The MDP-65-1 Series is a lightning surge protector for 4-20 mA signal line and pulse signal line use, including both 4-wire and 2-wire transmitters. The MDP-65-1 Series surge protector is designed to be installed on a DIN rail or surface and absorbs the surges only, without affecting the instrumentation signal. The surge protector element can be unplugged without any interruption of the signal.
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
- Max continuous operating voltage is 70V line to line and ±140V line to ground
- Voltage protection level at 1kV (100A) is 80 V line to line and ±650 V line to ground
- Voltage protection level at 2kV (1kA) is 110 V line to line and ±800 V line to ground
- Response time is ≤ 4 nsec line to line and ≤ 20 nsec line to ground
APPLICATION FLEXIBILITY
- With or without DIN rail mounting adapter
- CE marking only or CE marking & UL/cUL approval
- Coating: Silicone coating, polyurethane coating or rubber coating (UL not available for rubber coating)
